Fire in the Sky

This painting is what I like to refer to as a ‘mood painting’. It’s warm and soothing…those are words viewers often use to describe it. The inspiration came from a beautiful sunset I was lucky enough to see while driving to Kalispell, MT a couple years ago. It was so powerful, I simply had to pull over and just drink it in until it was gone.
