The Dark Times

Many years ago I lost my husband suddenly from a massive heart attack. The art I created during that time reflected the deep pain I was in. When I look at pieces from this time, I’m reminded of the darkness and what a journey it is to become whole again after that kind of loss. Eventually, I found my footing once again and moved into the sunshine. My memories of Rick are sweet and I think of him often. I’d like to think he checks in on me once in a while and is happy to see both me and my art healed and flourished.
