The Vortex

There existed a deep need to process my emotions through my art during these particularly chaotic times. However, I had just gone through shoulder surgery and was unable to paint in my usual way. This was my answer to a situation where my dominant arm was not usable…a left-handed outpouring of emotion. It was awkward at first, but I soon became swept up in this extremely cathartic experience.
